Job summary

Interstate Connecting Components (ICC) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support inside sales and branch management. The role involves order entry, reporting, backlog reviews, and maintaining essential branch administrative tasks, with back-up support for the sales team.

The right candidate will manage multiple daily priorities, excel in customer service, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1-2 years of progressively responsible experience in an office or related customer service environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• US Person as defined by ITAR: US Citizen, US Permanent Resident, asylum seeker, or refugee.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong organization and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Order entry and maintenance, reporting, backlog review, and spreadsheet administration.
• Provide back-up support for the sales team on customer needs and help grow sales with certain accounts.
• Collaborate with inside team to build solid relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Aim for 95%+ on-time delivery by addressing backlog and product availability with Sales and Customers.
• Develop at least one process improvement within the first six months.
• Maintain professionalism and diplomacy when working with internal support personnel.
