Job summary

MDC Precision, LLC is seeking a customer service oriented professional to handle quotations, orders, and lead times via phone, email, or Teams. You will coordinate with multiple departments, advise customers on our product line, and prepare quotations for non-price-book items while maintaining accurate order records.

The role requires strong communication, sales acumen, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent telephone skills with effective listening.

• Proficient PC skills and ability to use standard systems software.

Responsibilities

• Handle quotations, orders, and lead times from customers by phone, email, or Teams.
• Enter orders and relay pertinent information to customers; coordinate with other departments.
• Advise customers on product lines and prepare price quotations for items not in price book.
• Check credit status for rush orders and follow up on delivery information.
• Maintain active order files and handle scheduling changes and changes in credit status.
• Act as initial contact to resolve issues and ensure accurate order data entry.
