Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written & oral communication and strong relationship building skills.
• Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong computer skills including use of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs.
• Experience with distribution and familiarity with product lines is a plus.
• Must be a good listener with above average reasoning ability and make minimal mistakes.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Knowledge of parts and nomenclature; ability to work with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations from domestic customers.
• Provide excellent service and maintain rapport with customers.
• Support the Outside Sales Team.
• Use ERP systems to retrieve customer information and manage orders.
• Track inquiries, quotations and orders through ERP; coordinate with suppliers and warehouse expeditors.
• Ensure documentation is obtained and forwarded to customers.
• Interface with suppliers on pricing, delivery, and technical issues.
• Respond to inquiries promptly with strong phone selling skills.
• Assist accounts receivable with payments and credit holds.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
