Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls. The role emphasizes reliable processes, clear communication, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include quoting, order entry, pricing decisions within approved parameters, and building lasting customer relationships to drive repeat business. Strong teamwork with Account Representatives is expected to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years related experience preferred.
• Excellent driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk in (counter sales).
• Influences Motion Industries' gross profit through negotiating the sale price and purchase price, within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet demand while maximizing profit for Motion Industries.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer and drive process improvements.
• Orders items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers.
• May place orders without approval for orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order.
