Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in customer service or sales (or combination of education and experience).
• Experience in printing/graphics/promotional products and apparel is a major plus.
• Good verbal and grammar skills.
• Stamina and enthusiasm; enjoys working with people.
• Responsible and empathetic; detail-oriented with a good personality.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn MIS software for entering orders and front counter transactions.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in person or over the phone and takes complete messages.
• Identifies customer printing and duplicating needs and quotes turnaround times.
• Recommends value-added services and upsells when appropriate.
• Enters orders in MIS system and handles cash transactions.
• Notifies customers when orders are completed and follows up on estimates.
• Maintains front counter cleanliness and filing systems.
• Maintains knowledge of AlphaGraphics products, services, and pricing.
• Assists outside sales and production as needed and maintains customer leads.
