Job summary

Eastern Controls is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers and the sales team from quote through order fulfillment. You will ensure accurate orders, timely updates, and responsive service, reflecting our commitment to quality and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred).
• Experience in customer service, order management, sales support, or inside sales.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience working with ERP and/or CRM systems.
• Excellent data entry accuracy and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers via phone and email.
• Respond promptly to inquiries regarding quotes, orders, deliveries, and product information.
• Proactively communicate order updates and resolve issues.
• Build strong relationships with customers through responsive, knowledgeable support.
• Review customer purchase orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter and process orders in our ERP system and verify pricing/terms.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and internal departments to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Escalate complex/high-value orders for review when needed.
• Monitor open orders and provide delivery status updates.
• Prepare basic product quotations using established pricing guidelines.
• Support sales teams with timely quote processing.
