Job summary

Majors Plastics Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary contact for customer PO placement, order status inquiries, pricing information, and related issues.

You will review orders, generate sales orders, and coordinate with scheduling and production teams to ensure on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has at least two years of customer service or sales experience, strong MS Office skills, and a flexible, team-oriented approach in a clean, temperature-controlled

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service or sales experience.
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office programs.
• Degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive input on order requirements via phone, fax, or mail.
• Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and delivery requirements.
• Generate initial purchased goods sales order.
• Submit sales order to scheduling.
• Coordinate JIT activities with specific customers.
• Establish economic run quantities on JIT and blanket order items with scheduling, manufacturing, and material services personnel.
• Maintain customer correspondence (files).
• Coordinate communication between customers and Majors personnel.
• Advise customers of pricing changes via fax, phone, or written notifications.
• Distribute customer-generated documentation to Majors personnel.
• Maintain appropriate aged inventory levels of finished goods as well as their inventory turnover rates.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
