Job summary

Cohesive Components is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage assigned customer accounts, drive satisfaction, and collaborate cross-functionally to solve issues and improve service levels.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, setting ship dates, coordinating with production and 3PL, communicating with customers on status and obsolescence, maintaining accurate data, and developing strong relationships with customers on site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related customer service experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with high volume/SKUs is preferred.
• Proactive, professional communication and problem solving.
• ERP system experience required; Epicor experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and managing customer orders.
• Acknowledging orders within 24 hours of PO receipt.
• Committing to ship dates based on inventory, revision level, stock status, raw material availability and production capacity.
• Lead cross-functional discussions when order dates exceed customer requirements.
• Communicate customer part obsolescence and coordinate actions to minimize losses.
• Review daily shortfalls and coordinate with customers on delivery date changes.
• Prioritize production backlog for top customers.
• Manage customer expedit es with production/purchasing and communicate status.
• Investigate discrepancies with 3PL and internal processes to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow up on held orders to realize revenue.
• Lead communication of quality issues and ensure resolution.
• Identify and improve customer service processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers; visit sites as needed.
