Applied Industrial Technologies in Elk Grove Village, IL seeks a Customer Service Representative to assist customers by phone and in person, build ongoing relationships, and help identify the right parts and solutions. You will support a service and parts center, with room to grow toward sales or management.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone and written skills, including English grammar.
• Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Enjoys working with computers and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).
• Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility.
• Clarify needs, research, and after ramp-up, recommend parts.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction.
• Process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service.
