Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers by phone and in person at our Holland, MI facility. You will clarify needs, perform research, and, after training, recommend parts to meet customer requirements.

You will work toward monthly sales goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include processing quotes, taking orders, and delivering post-order service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone and written English grammar.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Comfort with computers and basic MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone and in person at the facility.
• Clarify needs, research, and, after getting up to speed, recommend parts.
• Work to meet or exceed monthly sales goals while boosting customer satisfaction.
• Process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service.
