Job summary

Schnucks Markets, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Customer Service Manager to oversee customer service operations and staff scheduling at our store in Ohio. The role involves supervising checkers and baggers, ensuring efficient checkout, and covering duties when the Customer Service Manager is unavailable.

The position requires reliable attendance, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle store operations and service center tasks. Training will be provided at store level.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or grocery environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• All duties of checker and customer service person
• Take on the duties of the Customer Service Manager when they are not on-site.
• Supervision of checkers and baggers to maximize efficiency of checkout process
• Write schedule for baggers, checkers, U-scan and service center ensuring proper coverage during all business hours.
• Perform all service center duties including but not limited to utility payments, lottery, cash drawer audits, and store safe management
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
