Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a Center Store Operations Leader in Ohio to coach, develop, and inspire teammates while upholding Schnucks' customer service standards and store conditions. You will supervise department staff, manage inventory, and coordinate pricing, signage, and promotions to support financial goals.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years retail grocery experience and a high school diploma. You must be resilient, communicate clearly, and be able to lift items over 50 lbs and stand long hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma, degree, or relevant work experience considered.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 to 3 years.
• Current retail grocery experience required.
• Proficient in store operations, inventory, scheduling, and customer service best practices.
• Ability to coach, develop and inspire others.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and maintain store conditions, including merchandising, in stock/ordering, freshness, cleanliness, and TIL reducing initiatives.
• Schedule and supervise department staff.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize productive inventory.
• Facilitate training and skill development of Center Store teammates.
• Coordinate marketing, sales, and advertising programs including price changes and signage.
• Identify areas of opportunity (sales, gross profit, expenses, labor, and TIL) to achieve the financial plan.
