Job summary

Schnucks is seeking an Assistant Customer Service Manager to support daily store operations and supervise checkout staff. Provide friendly, courteous service to customers and help maintain an efficient, well-staffed front-end.

You may cover Customer Service Manager duties when they are not on-site, write schedules for baggers and checkers, and oversee U-scan and service center tasks. Training is provided at store level.

Qualifications

• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• Internal Candidates: Store/Facility Teammates: six months preferred; Store Support Center Teammates: one year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Supervision of checkers and baggers to maximize efficiency of checkout process.
• Write schedule for baggers, checkers, U-scan and service center ensuring proper coverage during all business hours.
• Take on the duties of the Customer Service Manager when they are not on-site.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
