Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver superior service, answer inquiries on availability, pricing, and deliveries, and manage orders from entry to invoicing.

You will collaborate with sales, design and production teams to satisfy customer requirements while maintaining organized records and resolving billing issues promptly. This role supports a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Two years of customer service experience handling orders.
• Experience with order entry systems.
• Experience in manufacturing packaging sector preferred.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process and track orders from scheduling to invoicing.
• Communicate order status to internal teams and Sales Representatives.
• Coordinate requests for product specs, availability, quotes and samples.
• Link between customer and design, sales, and production to meet requirements.
• Maintain organized customer files and records.
• Investigate and resolve billing issues and escalate when needed.
• Manage on-hand inventory levels and month-end counts.
