Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support commercial and industrial clients within its Environmental Services division.

You will maintain account records, perform high-volume data entry, and process inquiries and service requests promptly. Requirements include a high school diploma and 2–5 years of customer service experience, with strong communication, organization, and MS Outlook/Word/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel; strong data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service via phone, email, web, or in-person.
• Handle calls and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Track customer data and maintain account files in the system.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and field staff to resolve service issues.
• Process payments, web requests, subscriptions, and refunds.
• Perform administrative tasks including credit checks and account setups/cancellations.
• Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to company policies.
