Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support commercial and industrial clients by handling calls, processing inquiries, and assisting with account records.

You will collaborate with operations, sales, and field staff, perform high-volume data entry, manage payments and subscriptions, and help ensure timely resolution of service requests in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to handle high-volume calls and data entry.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service via phone, email, web, or in-person.
• Handle incoming/outgoing calls and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Track customer data, enter information into system databases, and maintain account files.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and field staff to communicate instructions and resolve service issues.
• Process payments, web requests, residential subscriptions, and customer refunds.
• Perform administrative tasks including credit checks, contract scanning, and account setups/cancellations.
• Maintain an organized workspace, assist office visitors, and adhere to company policies and regulations.
