Job summary

Richelieu is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its North Reading team. You will handle order information, provide quotes, assist showroom walk-ins, and support outside sales with customer orders.

The role requires related experience, knowledge of cabinetry or building materials, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; AS400 experience is preferred. This full-time, on-site position offers group insurance, retirement plans, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Related experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of Cabinetry, Kitchen & Bath or building materials.
• Developed customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Team-oriented with initiative.
• Strong drive and creativity.
• AS400 experience preferred but not mandatory.
• High School graduate; some college courses preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; able to use Excel, Word, Outlook daily.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls from customers placing orders and provide sales quotes.
• Work closely with outside sales reps on orders and quotes.
• Assist walk-in customers in showroom with questions and orders.
• Solicit new or complimentary sales by phone and in showroom.
• Research product solutions to resolve field-project issues.
• Hours of operation are Monday to Friday dayshift.
