Job summary

HOM Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide excellent service to customers. You will answer phones, finalize orders, process payments, schedule deliveries and pickups, and handle returns and warranty paperwork.

You will support showroom Sales Consultants, process finance applications, and assist with accessories and small purchases. The role includes working on the sales floor and other duties as assigned; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Six months of customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to sit for sustained periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct callers to the proper department or answer questions.
• Finalize orders, take payments, and schedule deliveries/pickups.
• Process returns and initial warranty paperwork; make order changes/cancellations.
• Update customers on order status and process finance applications.
• Support showroom Sales Consultants and assist with orders as needed.
• Sell accessories and other small purchases; occasionally work on the sales floor.
