Job summary

HOM Furniture is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver excellent service to customers. You will answer phones, finalize orders, process payments, and schedule deliveries and pickups as part of a busy retail operation.

Responsibilities include processing returns and warranty paperwork, updating customers on order status, handling finance applications, and supporting showroom Sales Consultants. Occasional floor coverage and accessory sales are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones to direct callers or answer questions.
• Finalizing orders, taking payments, and scheduling deliveries and pickups.
• Processing returns and initial paperwork for warranty claims.
• Making changes and cancellations to orders when appropriate.
• Updating customers on order status changes.
• Processing finance applications.
• Support for showroom Sales Consultants and processing orders as needed.
• Processing sales for accessories and other small purchases.
• Occasionally work the sales floor following HOM Furniture’s sales methods.
• Other duties as assigned.
