Job summary

HOM Furniture seeks a Customer Service Representative in Minnesota to deliver excellent service to customers both in-store and by phone. You will answer inquiries, finalize orders, process payments, schedule deliveries, and support Sales Consultants.

This role also handles returns, warranty paperwork, order changes, and keeps customers informed about status updates. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Education: Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Six months of customer service experience preferred.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and directing callers to the proper department or answering questions.
• Finalizing orders, taking payments, and scheduling deliveries and pickups.
• Processing returns and initial paperwork for warranty claims.
• Making changes and cancellations to orders when appropriate.
• Updating customers on order status changes.
• Processing finance applications.
• Support for showroom Sales Consultants and processing orders as needed.
• Sell accessories and small purchases.
• Occasionally work on the sales floor using HOM Furniture sales methods.
• Other duties as assigned.
