Job summary

HOM Furniture is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative in Rochester, MN to deliver excellent service to customers and support showroom Sales Consultants. Responsibilities include handling calls, finalizing orders, processing payments, scheduling deliveries, and managing returns.

The role involves assisting with financing apps, updating customers on order status, and handling accessories sales while following HOM Furniture’s sales methods.

Qualifications

• Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Six months of customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones to direct callers or answer questions.
• Finalizing orders, taking payments, and scheduling deliveries and pickups.
• Processing returns and initial paperwork for warranty claims.
• Making changes and cancellations to orders as needed.
• Updating customers on order status changes.
• Processing finance applications.
• Assist showroom Sales Consultants with questions and orders.
• Process sales for accessories and small purchases.
• Occasionally work the sales floor following HOM Furniture’s sales methods.
