Job summary

ThompsonGas in Cameron, MO is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle inbound and outbound sales calls, support customer retention, acquire new customers and perform data entry in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of customer service experience (call center preferred), strong communication skills, and the ability to upsell products while maintaining high quality service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Customer Service experience (Call center experience preferred).
• Sales experience strongly preferred; ability to upsell products in highly competitive environment a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on developing a positive rapport with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls by asking probing questions to uncover sales and service opportunities.
• Address customer issues including pricing, billing, products and new account setup.
• Enter and update customer account information in CARGAS and MPXsystems.
• Process payments for walk-in customers and support data entry tasks.
