Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must attend ~3-week in-person training at our Erie, PA office before transitioning to remote work.
• Prior customer service, call center, healthcare, or related experience preferred.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Professionally answer inbound calls from patients, family members, and provider offices.
• Make outbound calls to welcome new patients and assist with scheduling or rescheduling appointments.
• Listen carefully to understand each caller's needs and provide accurate, clear information.
• Adjust your tone to fit the caller—professional with providers, warm with patients and families.
• Partner with internal teams to help resolve scheduling, benefits, and account questions.
• Accurately document every interaction while maintaining confidentiality.

What You'll Do

As a Patient Care Representative, you'll be a trusted point of contact for patients, their families, insurance representatives, and referring healthcare provider offices. Every interaction is a chance to provide clear guidance and genuine support, often during a stressful time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Professionally answer inbound calls from patients, family members, and provider offices
• Make outbound calls to welcome new patients and assist with scheduling or rescheduling appointments
• Listen carefully to understand each caller's needs and provide accurate, clear information
• Adjust your tone and approach to fit the caller --- professional and precise with provider offices, warm and empathetic with patients and families
• Partner with internal teams to help resolve scheduling, benefits, and account questions
• Accurately document every interaction while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Use good judgment to resolve issues, knowing when to bring in a colleague for more complex situations
