Job summary

IU Health is seeking a patient service representative to join Brownsburg Urgent Care, supporting patient inquiries and coordinating service requests. You will handle phone and email contacts professionally, document interactions, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, 0–3 years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong time-management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment at our Brownsburg and Avon location network.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient/customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
• Determines the best method for problem resolution of basic issues, meeting patient/customer needs and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments for issue resolutions as necessary.
• Accurately gathers and documents patient/customer information and interactions for database recording and scheduling.
• Processes orders, exchanges, and other service requests.
• Maintains professionalism and a positive attitude in all patient/customer interactions.

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday 7:45am-8:15pm (10/12-hour shifts)

Saturday & Sunday 7:45am-6:15pm

travel to Avon location; as needed

Must work 36 hours per week; holidays and weekends

Training:

Week 1: Tuesday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Week 2:Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm
