Job summary

IU Health is seeking team members to provide compassionate customer service and support for patients at Bloomington East Urgent Care. The role requires handling inquiries by phone and email, accurately recording information, and coordinating with multiple departments to resolve issues promptly.

The schedule includes 7:45am-8:15pm shifts on weekdays and weekend coverage, with holiday availability. A high school diploma and 0-3 years of experience are required, along with proficiency in MS Office

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient/customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
• Determines the best method for problem resolution of basic issues, meeting patient/customer needs and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments for issue resolutions as necessary.
• Accurately gathers and documents patient/customer information and interactions for database recording and scheduling.
• Processes orders, exchanges, and other service requests.
• Maintains professionalism and a positive attitude in all patient/customer interactions.

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday 7:45am-8:15pm (10/12 hour shifts)

Saturday & Sunday 7:45am-6:15pm

Holiday availability required.
