Essential Job Duties
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with new & existing customers through a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
- Perform heavy phone activity and computer use, handling field staff requests/inquiries regarding general issues.
- Receive incoming calls and create work orders.
- Manage timely responses to customers’ calls and inquiries.
- Plan, forecast, schedule, and communicate service calls with customers and technicians.
- Maintain an extremely well‑organized calendar.
- Perform other duties and additional responsibilities as directed, depending upon interest and capacity.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday – Thursday in office
- Monday & Friday remote
Pay
$18 – $23 per hour, depending on experience.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Requirements
- Additional Diploma.
- Sales or customer service experience, especially in a call center environment.
- Bi‑Lingual: English & Spanish or English & French.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Arithmetic: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; calculate rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret graphs.
- Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, and graphics.
- Communicate basic messages orally; write brief messages and keep simple records; offer guidance on routine procedures.
- Problem solving: routine, repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
- Decision making: primarily affects own job or assigned functional area; uses existing practices and supervisor guidance.
- Prioritize assigned and routine tasks; handle appropriately.
Essential Physical Demands & Work Environment
Work is primarily sedentary; must be able to sit for extended periods and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse frequently. Traveling may be required periodically, including overnight stays if position requirements necessitate. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
