We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our Community Banking team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer support and client service to our walk-in customers through effective communication and problem-solving skills. This role involves engaging with customers to address inquiries, process transactions, and ensure overall customer satisfaction. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced setting while contributing to the company's reputation for integrity, excellence, teamwork, and outstanding service.
As a Bank of Bird-in-Hand Customer Service Representative, you will interact regularly with our walk-in customers, responding promptly and professionally to in-person customer inquiries, providing accurate information about our Bank’s products and services, and assisting customers with opening all types of deposit accounts. You’ll also provide outstanding support as you assist customers with routine account-related requests such as funds transfers, automatic funds transfers (AFTs), stop payments, inquiries about bank deposit products and service charges, inquiries about ATM and debit card usage and limits, inquiries about checking and savings accounts transactions, inquiries about funds availability, and check verification requests by third parties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships and assist in research and resolving customer problems by analyzing issues, working with other bank departments when necessary and offering appropriate solutions.
This would be considered a floating role at our Bird-in-Hand location. You may be asked to help cover other nearby branches in certain instances where coverage is needed.
