Job summary

S and G stores in Michigan seeks a dedicated 3rd shift supervisor to help the store run efficiently while ensuring compliance with all laws and policies. You will assist the store manager to maximize sales and maintain asset control.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service leadership, greeting every customer, enforcing policies, keeping a clean, organized store, accurately processing cash and card transactions, and supporting plan‑o‑gram integrity and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Retail experience / Customer Service experience required.
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Available to work various shifts and days, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• Acknowledge/Greet all customers that come into the store.
• Ensure that all company policies are being followed.
• Promote and maintains a clean and organized store appearance inside and out.
• Efficiently process both cash and card transactions with integrity.
• Ensure all merchandising and marketing programs are implemented properly, including maintaining plan-o-gram integrity and appropriate sign placement.
• Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products appropriately and removing out-of-date products.
• Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place in the proper manner.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees and notifying the appropriate individuals.

Requirements

• Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time. e.g., in the store, outside, and in the cooler.
• Available to work carious shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment, including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
