Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Strongsville is seeking a Customer Service Rep 1 to provide product information, process orders, resolve issues, and report to the Customer Service Manager. This role emphasizes detail, reliability, and problem solving within a team-oriented environment.

Required are 1+ year in customer service and 1–2 years in construction or manufacturing; AS400 and SAP are preferred. Some on-floor exposure and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum in a customer-facing role.
• 1-2 years in construction or manufacturing industry.
• AS400 and SAP experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and listening skills.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read and interpret requirements in fractions.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Occasional manufacturing floor exposure up to 10% of the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain broad knowledge of product and services.
• Document customer interactions and transactions.
• Data entry of orders for production.
• Coordinate between sales and production to meet expectations.
• Maintain communication with product and support staff.
• Communicate with customers to determine delivery dates.
• Coordinate and resolve product or service problems.
• Participate in internal and external training.
• Maintain attendance and safety compliance as essential functions.
• Any additional duties as assigned by management.
