Job summary

Lincare Holdings in Washington state seeks an intake-focused associate to handle customer questions, resolve problems, determine additional product/service needs, and ensure compliance with physician direction. The role includes inbound/outbound calls, documentation in the record system, and entering orders.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED (or 1–3 months related experience), ability to read pharmacy terminology, accurate data entry, and willingness to train others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training may be acceptable.
• Computer entry required and proficiency with basic software systems.
• Must meet licensing requirements for the specific location.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers via inbound and outbound calls and notes in the record system.
• Assesses customer needs for products/services and ensures physician orders are followed.
• Educates customers on products/services and documents interactions.
• Enters customer orders and updates demographic information in computerized systems.
• Works with coworkers and patients, providing clear communication and training support as needed.
• Assists in reviewing documents and applying prescription terminology in patient care.

Offering $17.13 to $23 per hour

This employee communicates with customers for the purposes of answering questions, resolving problems, determining ongoing and additional product/service needs, and supporting compliance to physician direction.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Communicates with customers via inbound and outbound manual calls and outbound calls generated via automated dialer system
• Assesses customer need for additional products/services
• Assesses customer compliance with physician orders
• Answers questions and provides customer education regarding products/services
• Documents calls in computerized record keeping system
• Enters customer orders in computerized system
• Verifies and updates demographic information such as address and telephone number in computerized records

• Read and analyze documents such as patient orders
• Comprehend pharmacy prescription terminology
• Effectively communicate with coworkers and patients alike
• help with the training of employees
• calculate figures and amounts in reference to frequency and doses dispensed
• apply common sense understanding to carry out oral and written instructions

Education & Experience:

• High SchoolDiploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training
• Computer entry Required
• Must meet any licensing requirementsnecessary for specific location

Physical Demands:

This employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
