Job summary

HireLevel is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service / Production Assistant for a well-established insurance agency in Ridgway, IL. This entry-level role focuses on helping customers in person and over the phone and provides training to obtain a Property & Casualty license after hire.

You will greet visitors, handle calls, update accounts, maintain records, and support front-office tasks using the Navigator system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service, retail, receptionist, or office experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Friendly, outgoing, and personable approach with customers.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy front-office setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer incoming calls using strong phone etiquette and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Provide helpful, attentive service to customers in person and by phone.
• Work with customers to update insurance and account information accurately.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Support front-office operations, scheduling, communications, and administrative tasks.
• Learn and use the agency’s Navigator system.
• Collaborate with agency staff and contribute to a welcoming office environment.
