Job summary

U-Haul Holding Company in Mobile, AL is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be the face of our service and assist customers on their journeys by inspecting and maintaining equipment. You will also use U-Scan technology to dispatch and return rentals and help customers with questions about products.

This role offers on-the-job education with two hands-on interviews; a $100 hiring bonus and an additional $300 cash bonus after completing the Equipment Inspection and Verification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns of equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
