Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the main contact for customers, handling orders, requests, and support with professionalism. You will interact regularly, entering orders, handling calls and written inquiries, and actively selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls, while assisting with product selection and application.

The role requires strong communication skills and a friendly, tactful approach to a variety of customer situations.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred.
• High School education.
• 2 year or 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer experience is top notch in quality.
• Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues.
• Sell Graybar goods and services on inbound calls.
• Provide support on product selection and application.
• Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit and claims.
