Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Yakima, WA. You will welcome customers, help them find products, answer questions, and process orders with friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand/sit and perform duties as needed.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Dow n stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
