Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, locate products, and assist with home improvement needs in a fast-paced retail setting. You will help customers find items, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience across various departments.

The role requires basic computer and retail tech skills, a willingness to lift up to 25 lbs, and the ability to stand for extended periods. This part-time position offers opportunities for growth and on-site training.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months of experience using retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to perform duties with prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
• Minimum lifting 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock merchandise by identifying empty shelf spaces and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time arrival.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service quality.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe, cut/bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
