Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers find home improvement solutions and provide friendly, professional service across departments.

You will greet customers, answer questions, locate merchandise, and process orders while assisting with loading and stocking as needed. This role offers a path to growth with health coverage, tuition assistance, and a 401(k) with company match, along with an associate discount.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic retail tech devices.
• 6 months experience using smartphones or tablets for point-of-sale and inventory tasks.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and input data accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform job duties.
• Minimum lifting of 25 lbs, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock and organize shelves and stock areas as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time receipt.
• Cross-train in other departments to support store operations.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
