Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers with home improvement needs and to provide friendly, efficient service in-store. You will assist with product location, stock management, and checkout while supporting multiple departments as needed.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and using smartphones/tablets to assist customers and complete tasks. Bilingual skills and prior retail experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer and basic arithmetic.
• Experience with retail technology such as smartphones or tablets.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 25 lbs unassisted.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
