Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Philadelphia to be the face of exceptional service. You will assist customers with U-Haul products and services, manage rentals with U-Scan, and help move and hook up trucks and trailers.

The role involves inspecting equipment, answering questions, preparing invoices, and opportunities for ongoing training. A part-time schedule with benefits is available on-site at 7400 Ogontz Ave, Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and handle equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rentals.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
