Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service standards, both inside a center and in the field. You will assist customers with rentals, use U-Scan tech to track inventory, and help move and connect trucks and trailers to support customer journeys.

The role includes hands-on training, opportunities to earn bonuses, and access to U-Haul University for ongoing education. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to use basic technology and manage rental-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Other duties as assigned by the team.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
