Responsibilities include processing orders via various channels, coordinating shipping, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with Account Representatives to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–3 years related experience.
• Reliable and detail oriented; able to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use business systems.
• Product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries, provide quotes, and enter orders.
• Place orders by phone, fax, email, or in person (counter sales).
• Negotiate pricing within set parameters to influence gross profit.
• Adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer needs while protecting profit.
• Build relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Maintain inventory levels by sourcing items.
• Authorize orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• Collaborate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedite backorders and prepare shipments.
• Handle customer returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
