Motion Industries in Dallas, TX is seeking a Customer Service Representative under close supervision to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls.

You will respond to product inquiries, enter orders, place orders via phone or walk-in, negotiate pricing within parameters, and help maintain inventory. Strong communication and computer skills are essential; product knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Reliability, organization, and attention to detail required.
• Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.
• Moderate computer skills; ability to use business systems and search capabilities to find products online.
• Product knowledge is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products and provides quotes.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Influences Motion Industries' gross profit through negotiating the sale price and purchase price within certain parameters.
• May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit for Motion Industries.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Orders items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers.
• Determines the most cost effective shipping method for customer orders.
• Expedites backorders and may pull inventory for shipment to customer.
• May handle customer returns.
