Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to handle front-end duties and cash transactions, ensuring a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and reliable performance in a fast-paced retail setting, with opportunities for growth and advancement within our Newport location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, grocery, or similar environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent movement.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise and process freight per productivity standards.
• Merchandise and stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and restrooms, and keep areas neat and presentable.
• Handle sales transactions at the cash register and protect cash assets.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
