Job summary

Michaels Store - LAKELAND-SOUTH, FL is seeking a team member to help customers, stock shelves, and run a smooth checkout. You will engage shoppers, complete transactions, and support store merchandising.

Assist with rewards enrollments, VOC education, and omni-channel tasks like BOPIS and SFS. This role emphasizes friendly service in a climate-controlled retail setting with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go backs and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact positively with others and be a role model for team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
