Job summary

Michaels Stores in Lakeland, FL is hiring for a Retail Team Member who delivers friendly customer service at the checkout and helps customers find products. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising to ensure an in-stock, well-presented store.

You will engage customers with the Michaels Rewards program, enroll shoppers in Private Label Credit Card options, and support omni-channel services such as BOPIS and SFS.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn POS and loyalty enrollment processes.
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes to maintain in-stock merchandising.
• Support store recovery and merchandising maintenance, including returns and general cleanliness.
