Meijer Inc. is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Department Manager for our East Grand Rapids store to lead, inspire, and drive operational excellence.

You will oversee customer service teams and key store operations, focusing on engagement, coaching, and performance management to deliver outstanding service. You will manage budgets, staffing forecasts, and process improvements while upholding Meijer’s culture and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry leading service.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members clearly and precisely.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.
• Commitment to safety and working to Meijer standards.

Responsabilités

• Engage and lead team members to onboarding, training, and development with coaching and feedback.
• Recruit and develop talent to support store staffing and leadership pipelines.
• Hold candid discussions to ensure standards are upheld and growth within the organization.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, including budget management and productivity.
• Drive safety and compliance and manage store condition and staffing forecasts.
• Provide guidance to Team Leaders and Leads and assign daily work.
