Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry leading service.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members to provide clear direction.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and coaching for success.
• Identifies talent and supports staffing and leadership development.
• Hold candid discussions to uphold Meijer standards and growth opportunities.
• Oversee area operations and financial results, including budget accountability.
• Drive safety, compliance, and store condition management; implement procedures.
• Lead and guide Team Leaders/Leads with daily work and training needs.
