Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, help them find products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience. You will assist in locating items, answer questions, and sometimes load merchandise while delivering friendly service throughout your shift.

Daily duties include helping customers, organizing merchandise, and supporting multiple departments as needed. This role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and delivering excellent customer care in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
• Able to minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or >25 lbs with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock replenishment by identifying empty shelf areas and restocking.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt by customers.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support superior customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in department per customer needs (e.g., paint tinting, pipes, wood, drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
