Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for their home improvement needs. You will assist with locating merchandise, answer questions, and ensure customers leave satisfied with their shopping experience.

Role involves daily customer interaction, some lifting, and occasionally stocking and processing orders. A flexible schedule and opportunities for growth are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer or inputting information
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
• Able to stand/sit for long periods and lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus
• Retail and/or customer service experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise and replenish shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service
• Prepare merchandise in department (paint tinting, pipe cutting, etc.) as needed
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
