Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to handle front-end duties and cash register tasks, while maintaining a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

Key responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, and ensuring safety and integrity of cash. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register and protecting cash assets.
