Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to handle cash register duties and front-end tasks as needed, while maintaining a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely according to productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and keeping areas neat and presentable.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions while operating the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
